It isn't always easy to know when you are looking at inaccurate information on the internet. Students at HGI are learning about how to tell the good websites from the bad, and they would like to share that information with you. Keep watching for student work with tips on how to tell if the websites you visit are trustworthy.

This is general school information for parents (in case you lost it or it is buried in your backpack).
Ok, so there isn't exactly 101 things on this list yet, but if you are looking for something new to try (photo editing, cartoon creator, online music editing, mind maps etc.) you might want to check this list out. I'm constantly adding to it, so keep an eye on it for updates.
John Wilson stopped by our school on Friday to speak with students about his books and his experiences as a writer.
We are very grateful to him for answering all of our questions, telling us many great stories (especially the one about the pocket watch in the crocodile's stomach), and for signing all of those bookmarks. Thank you for visiting HGI, and for being so generous with your time Mr. Wilson!
Students were excited to hear that Written in Blood, and Ghost Moon will be followed up by at least one more book! We just received a copy of Ghost Moon in the library, so if you'd like to read more about Jim Doolen and his next adventure, come check it out!
You can learn more about John Wilson and his books on his website. He now has some of his out of print titles available as ebooks, and for a very low cost.
